Kumar Klub Premier League—Official Rules and Guidelines
1. Eligibility
• The Kumar Klub Premier League is exclusively for residents of Kumar Prithvi (H1 and H2 buildings).
• Only registered residents are eligible to participate.
2. Tournament Format
• The competition will follow a league format.
3. Ball and Batting Equipment
• Matches will be played with ARTENGO soft tennis balls provided by the Klub.
• Two standard bats will be available from the Klub. Players may bring their own bats if they prefer.
4. Innings and Bowling Rules
• Each match will consist of 6 overs per inning.
• Fast bowling is not permitted; bowlers must bowl at a medium or slow pace.
• A maximum of 2 overs may be bowled by any single bowler.
• Each team must use a minimum of 4 bowlers in an inning.
5. KKMO—Kumar Klub Magic Over
• The first over of every match is the Kumar Klub Magic Over.
• All runs scored in this over are doubled (×2).
• Only one wicket is permitted in Magic Over; if a wicket falls, the over’s runs are counted as zero.
6. Umpiring and Conduct
• The umpire’s decision is final and binding; no arguments or discussions will be entertained.
• Arguing with umpires or organizers may result in immediate disqualification from that match.
7. Disputes and Conflict Resolution
• The organizing committee reserves the right to adjudicate disputes, conflicts, or arguments involving players or teams and to take appropriate action.
8. Punctuality
• Teams must report at least 15 minutes before the scheduled match time.
• Late arrival may lead to forfeiture of the match, with match points awarded to the opponent.
9. Uniform and Equipment
• The Klub will provide team T-shirts and caps.
• Players must wear track pants and sports shoes.
• The following are strictly prohibited: flip-flops, Crocs, jeans, shorts, three-quarters, casual shoes, safety shoes, and formal shoes.
• No player will be allowed to participate without the specified playing kit.
By participating, all teams and players agree to abide by these rules to ensure a smooth and fair tournament.
